Financial Resources for Homes

There are a variety of financial resources available to help you make energy efficiency improvements in your home.

First, check with your utility provider. Review your bill to see if receive your energy from AmerenNicor Gas, or Corn Belt. Each utility provides excellent financial resources and incentives to help you reduce your energy usage.  If you are a low-income household, you may qualify for weatherization improvements. See the link below for eligibility requirements and where to find more information.

Illinois Low Income Weatherization Help via Mid Central Community ActionAn approved contractor will install measures that will save the most energy within the budget available. Work to be done is determined by the results of a computerized energy analysis of the structure; no two houses will have the same work performed.Must be a mobile home or single-family home within the income requirements.
